About the Role

We have an exciting permanent full time opportunity for a Team Manager to join the Home Care team supporting the Shoalhaven region.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the Team Manager is responsible for the day to day people management of IRT Home Care staff. You will establish rapport with a diverse team of staff, take pride in building and leading a positive team culture and ensure effective & efficient service is provided by staff through role modelling, coaching, and supervision.

Our preference is for the successful candidate to be based out of our office in Nowra.

Key responsibilities:

Assist the Regional Operations Manager to manage the resourcing model that forecasts and balances supply and demand that supports revenue growth and controls employment cost in line with the annual budge

  Support the Regional Operations Manager to ensure we continuously attract, induct, develop and retain frontline staf- f
  Support the Regional Operations Manager to mentor, coach, and performance lead and manage frontline care staff in the delivery and execution of service- s
  Coordinate and lead initiatives that facilitates ongoing learning, skills development and build market leading workforce capabilit- y
  Coordinate and support the execution of all team meeting- s
  Liaise and support the rostering team in the day-to-day decision making regarding roster adjustment- s
  Facilitate communication, distribution and rollout of relevant initiatives and marketing collateral that involve execution by the frontline care staf- f
  Ensure staff deliver excellent customer experiences for each visit that lead to continuously improving NPS and QOL scores and positive customer feedbac- k
  Participate and contribute to the planning processes, policy and procedure formulation as pertains to area of responsibilit- y

To Be Successful You Will Have

Experience leading or managing a team in the Aged Care industry or simila

  Tertiary qualifications qualification e.g. Certificate IV in relevant industry Aged Care, Disability, HACC, Frontline Management or Individual Support or equivalent demonstrated experienc- e
  Excellent computer skills and data collectio- n
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills- .
  Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to apply these skills in people managemen- t
  Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and to be self-motivate- d
