The Job:
We have an exciting, full-time permanent opportunity for an experienced HC Driver at our Karratha Depot.
Some Benefits:
- Full Time Permanent position
- Additional weekly location allowance
- 15% superannuation
- Monday to Friday shifts
- Overtime available when required
- High priority to safety and keeping our team members safe.
- All PPE and uniforms are provided.
Some Key Responsibilities:
- To represent Team Global Express in a professional manner while picking up freight from customers and delivering to customers and in a consistent and timely manner.
- To ensure freight is securely loaded and unloaded and lifted/transported in accordance with safety regulations.
- Adhering to scanning and Proof of Delivery procedures and safe and law-abiding driving practices. The driver is expected to understand and respect TGE's OH&S policies and procedures.
- Manage and collect all consignment paperwork and/or manifests and notes at pickup points.
- Ensure freight is packaged in a safe and effective manner.
About you:
Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Current manual HC licence and HC driving experience
- Current Forklift ticket required
- Experience in pick-up and delivery of general and express freight.
- Experience with radio communications systems preferable
- Experience with Load Restraint Systems & Equipment preferable.
- Experience with restraining loads in accordance with National Transport Commission's Load Restraint Guidelines desirable.
- Ability to pass pre-checks (medical/background/D&A)
