The Financial Controller will oversee and manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance within the SaaS space. This temporary role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting and finance. The role will commence as a short-term 3 month assignment with possibility for extension.

Description

The Financial Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Prepare and manage financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
  • Supervise and guide the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Assist with audits and implement recommendations as needed.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CA (preferred).
  • Strong technical skills in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Be adaptable and be able to work independently and autonomously
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
