The Sales Project Engineer will need to lead the Product and System developments. This will require Engineering, Project Management and Product Management activities. 

The role will require a driven and enthusiastic individual to work on engineering design, technical review, preparation of proposals (costing and quotations), ensuring cost effective solutions, dealing and working closely with the internal and external stakeholders for successful delivery of the project.

Sales Project Engineer will work with the Business Development staff from project concept through to delivery on specific projects to create, develop and convert sales opportunities.  The Sales Engineer will work with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders to lead product and system evaluation, design and selection to support the sales function in the delivery of a technical and commercial fit for purpose solutions.

This position is a pathway to either Product Management or Sales roles in the future. This is an opportunity with the support of training, established blue chip customers and a business that is a leader in their field with its head office in Dandenong, Victoria.

Ideally you will have;

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another discipline such as Process Engineering and/or some limited relevant industry related experience gained through university placement programs.  

• Experience working within an Industry where CAPEX equipment is sold and serviced.

• Experience in project engineering, with a focus on developing solutions (skills in Process engineering and S/W systems/integration would be highly regarded)
