ABOUT THE ROLE

Position: Land Surveyor/Survey Technician

While much of our work supports subdivision and land development, you'll also have opportunities to be involved in drone surveys, laser scanning, monitoring, infrastructure projects, and construction/engineering surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-field survey computations and preparation
  • Party leading on a variety of surveys
  • Post-survey data reduction and computations
  • Preparing and/or checking survey plans and reports
  • Contributing to internal project management software
  • Managing time effectively to meet deadlines and project targets
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to build strong relationships
  • Contributing to improvements in techniques and procedures
  • Maintaining quality assurance and professional standards

ABOUT YOU

You're an adaptable, proactive and detail-focused professional who enjoys variety in your work and collaborating with others. You will have:

  • Some experience as a Land Surveyor/Survey Technician or Survey Assistant ready to take the next step
  • Relevant qualifications (minimum Advanced Diploma of Surveying)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to interpret plans and technical documents
  • Sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • A current manual driver's license
  • Permanent right to work in Australia

Desirable:

  • White Card
  • Experience with LISCAD and AutoCAD/BricsCAD
  • Familiarity with Leica equipment
