About the role
Type: Permanent, Part Time 0.6 FTE
Classification: SCHADS Award Level 7.1 plus Superannuation
Location: Melbourne with hybrid options

The Manager of Events and Promotions leads the delivery of large high-impact events and promotional initiatives that reflect NTV's mission and values. This strategic, hands-on role manages a small team including the Events and Promotions Coordinator, Print Content Coordinator, Digital Content Coordinator, and Graphic Designer; to plan and execute major events such as the NTV National Conference, stakeholder forums, and public campaigns.
Working closely across the organisation and with the Senior Leadership Team, the Manager is responsible for the development of consistent, accessible, and strategically aligned communications that enhance visibility, stakeholder engagement, and NTV's national profile. The role plays a critical part in managing reputational risk, strengthening NTV's influence, and ensuring public-facing messaging reflects the organisation's purpose and impact in the family violence prevention sector.
Key duties:
- Plan and deliver high-profile events
- Lead promotional campaigns for NTV services
- Oversee branding and editorial content
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Supervise and develop team members
- Manage budgets and mitigate risks
About you
- Senior experience in events, promotions, or communications leadership
- Proven ability to deliver complex, high-impact projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to gender equity and preventing family violence
