About the Role

The primary purpose of the position of the Executive Coordinator Office of the Deputy Secretary is to provide high level confidential coordination of the Office of the Deputy Secretary and influence, liaise and assist the Deputy Secretary's Leadership Team.

The position will lead the development and improvement of the governance systems and standards of the Office of the Deputy secretary, act as the main point of contact and attend independently to a high volume of significant and urgent matters submitted to the Deputy Secretary.

The incumbent will serve as an advisor to the Deputy Secretary by having policy oversight, and conducting research and projects as directed and prepare advice and findings to inform the Deputy Secretary and executive level decision making and planning.

What you will need to Succeed

To be successful in this position, you will have:

· Tertiary degree in relevant field highly desirable but not mandatory. Equivalent experience would suffice.

· As a minimum Business Administration qualification or equivalent (such as Project Management/Business Management Advance Certificate of Diploma) combined with substantial work experience in relevant area, preferred degree qualified.

· At least five years demonstrated extensive experience as an executive assistant. Proven ability to coordinate a contemporary and high-volume executive office.

· Demonstrated intermediate to high level competence in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Experience in understanding, analysing and interpreting business plans and strategies and involvement in a range of challenging projects.

· Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to obtain co-operation and assistance of others to implement improvements and resolve issues.
