About the Department for Correctional Services
The Department employs approximately 2,000 staff and has responsibility for nine prisons and fifteen Community Correctional offices across the state. Our vision is for a safer community by protecting the public and reducing re-offending. Duties
The Contract Monitoring and Procurement Advisor is responsible for the provision of effective contract monitoring and procurement services for a number of key strategic contracts for the Department for Correctional Services. This role maintains contract management and procurement systems and processes as well as developing and maintaining relationships that ensure the achievement of identified contractual outcomes.
Special Conditions
- Section 47 of the Public Sector Act 2009 applies in conjunction with other provisions of the act and other applicable industrial entitlements.
- The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check;
- A current South Australian Driver's Licence is essential;
- A flexible approach to working hours is required;
- Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences.
Requirements
Essential: Nil
Desirable: Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or discipline (ie Business, Finance, Commerce, Procurement, Economics etc).
Remuneration
ASO5 ($85,790 - $95,413 pa)
