We're looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you'll support business growth across the region, building strong relationships with clients, assisting in identifying opportunities, and learning the fundamentals of business development within the medical aesthetics industry. This role is designed for someone who is eager to grow, develop their commercial skills, and build a career with Alma.
About You
If you're proactive, confident in communication, and excited to build relationships in a dynamic industry, this role is for you. You will have at least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, and a willingness to learn and grow in business development. Training and mentoring will be provided to help you succeed and develop your career with Alma.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients across the region.
- Identify and engage new business opportunities within the Medical Aesthetics field.
- Network with aesthetic clinic chains, KOLs, and key industry stakeholders.
- Forecast and report on sales performance in a timely manner.
- Assist in developing tailored business strategies to drive customer growth and retention.
- Support new initiatives: marketing campaigns, product launches, and incentive programs.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and ethical standards (e.g., Medicines Australia Code of Conduct).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, operations, and clinical support.
- Represent Alma at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events.
What You'll Bring
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field in beauty, aesthetics, or medical devices (preferred).
- Strong commercial acumen and interest in developing sales skills.
- Passion for networking and building long-term business partnerships.
- Understanding of service and operations within the medical aesthetics sector (desirable).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel interstate regularly within NSW (up to 40%) and internationally as required.
- Allied health background and/or clinical experience (desirable).
