About the Role

Medicolegal Occupational Therapy allows you to bring together your existing clinical experience and apply that to a medicolegal framework, assisting clients to achieve fair outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Functional Capacity Assessments for existing or prospective NDIS participants.

Use NDIS legislation, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based practice to inform your recommendations.

• Formulate clear, defensible opinions about how a client's disability impacts their daily life.
• Provide recommendations for assistive technology, home modifications, rehabilitation, or supports.
• You may be called upon to appear at the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) to elaborate on your findings.

What We're Looking For

AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with 4+ years' experience

• Skills in Psychosocial Disability an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Passion for report writing and/or medicolegal work
• Comfortable working autonomously with strong time management
• Familiarity with NDIS frameworks
• Valid Driver's Licence
