The Opportunity

We are looking for a technically focused Electronics Engineer with expertise in the design, integration, and support of electronic security systems. In this role, you will work hands-on with advanced technologies including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Networking Systems—delivering tailored engineering solutions to our key clients across Greater Sydney.

This position suits an engineer who is confident in both system design and field implementation, and who can also engage directly with customers to provide expert guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate electronic components, circuits, and systems for enterprise security applications
  • Work with embedded systems and software to support customised solutions
  • Support the full lifecycle of projects – from requirements gathering and solution architecture to implementation, testing, and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with Australian standards and safety protocols for electronic systems
  • Assist in the specification, installation, and commissioning of complex integrated systems
  • Provide technical input during the proposal and solution design phases for key accounts
  • Keep up to date with the latest electronic security technologies and product advancements

Technical Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in electronic security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Alarms, and IP Networking
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Genetec, Gallagher, Milestone, and Integriti
  • Strong problem-solving ability and experience with embedded software or signal processing is desirable
  • Experience with systems design, testing protocols, and documentation
  • Hands-on field experience in commissioning and troubleshooting electronic systems
  • NSW Security Licence (minimum Class 2B) and NSW Driver's Licence (Class C) required
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with combat, command, or defence-related electronic systems
  • Exposure to complex integration environments or cross-discipline engineering teams
  • Familiarity with standards around secure facility design and critical infrastructure protection
