Gold Road Personnel are a West Perth based company, specialising in recruitment within the Mining & Resources sector.

On behalf of one of our clients, a mid-tier gold producer with a growing presence in Western Australia, we are seeking an Underground Mining Engineer (Production) to join their team at an underground mining operation in the Mid-West Region. Salary & General Details:

  • Permanent Position
  • Rare 15 Days On / 13 Days Off roster available FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton
  • Highly competitive & negotiable salary + bonus/share incentives
  • Genuinely great culture with strong support from a growing engineering team on site and reporting in to the Engineering Superintendent
  • Additional incentives such as salary sacrifice/novated lease options on offer, as well as additional memberships

Requirements to be considered:

  • Completion of underground practical experience and 2 years + experience in underground mining
  • Exposure to Deswik
  • Drill & Blast Design Experience
  • A degree Qualification in Engineering (Mining)
  • Hold a valid C Class WA Drivers Licence
  • A high level and experience and regard for safety standards and Australian mining practices

About the Role:A full position description can be provided upon application, however duties include but are not limited to;

  • Preparation and charge plans for production firing
  • Complete production drill plans for maximum efficiency
  • Airleg rise plans for for production and escapeways
  • Underground inspections
  • Production monitoring, reporting, tracking and analysis
  • Produce work instructions for ancillary and service activities
