THE ORGANISATION

Our client is a leading financial services organisation, known for its performance-driven culture and commitment to integrity, transparency, and compliance. 

THE ROLE

We're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to manage the day-to-day delivery of a timely and accurate payroll. The role will cover all aspects of end-to-end processing, reporting, and compliance, while supporting ongoing improvements to systems and processes. You'll work closely with internal teams and external providers to ensure a smooth and efficient payroll function, maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, and provide high-quality service to employees and stakeholders.

Please note this is a 3-5 month temporary role. 

THE CRITERIATo be successful in this role you will have a strong background in Payroll compliance, ideally gained in the financial services industry. You will possess proven knowledge of the Fair Work Act, enterprise agreements, modern awards, and other relevant industrial instruments. Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, ideally Workday and ADP, is essential, along with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in high-pressure and fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to validate data and resolve complex payroll queries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as is the ability to confidently engage with employees and stakeholders.
