Duration: 12 months

POSITION PURPOSE

The Change Manager reports to the IT Portfolio Change Lead and has responsibility for planning and implementation change management activities supporting the Governance, Risk and Compliance Project.

The Change Manager will work alongside the Project Team, business subject matter experts (SMEs), and extended stakeholders to plan and implement the change journey, leveraging the IT Portfolio's Change Management Methodology.

GRC Project Background
The Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Transformation project is a critical strategic initiative to establish an Integrated Risk, Compliance and Assurance business model. This will involve changes across business frameworks, processes, roles and responsibilities and technology and data.

Key Responsibilities

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

· Working in partnership with the Project Manager facilitate and implement stakeholder engagement forums and working groups. Along with these, manage the stakeholder communications which will keep the broader Business community informed.

· Support the Project Manager in the creation and distribution of project communication materials, including newsletters, emails, and ad-hoc presentations.

· Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment and understanding.

· Build the SME/Change Agent network with a focus on change leadership capability and enablement.

· In partnership with the Project Business Analyst and Technical Risk Specialist, support efforts to facilitate business process re-engineering for the future state. This will require design and documentation of the business processes and will inform technical configuration within the new solution.

Change Management Planning

· Collaborate with the IT Portfolio Change Lead to align Change Plans with the Project Change Management Strategy

· Assess impacts for each release, through collaboration with project team members, SMEs and impacted teams to identify specific changes for teams/roles across roles, processes, technology, leadership and culture/ways of working.

· Develop and implement a comprehensive change management plan for each release.

Change Management Delivery

· Provide regular reporting and updates to the IT Portfolio Change Lead and Project Manager.

· Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilisation, and proficiency of individual changes related both the GRC Business Management framework and the technical implementation of the GRC solution.

· Working with the GRC solution vendor and Project Team, develop training programs to support the rollout of the new GRC solution. Where possible, leveraging resources provided by the GRC vendor.

· Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure a smooth transition.

· Provide ongoing support and guidance to end users post-implementation. This will be transitioned to the BAU team during the project delivery to ensure embed these support methods are maintained post-implementation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools and their application.

  2. 5-7 year's experience in Change Management, with experience gained medium to large scale enterprises (experience in manufacturing or engineering environments desired but not essential).

  3. Change Management experience in business transformation enabled and catalysed through the implementation of a SaaS Enterprise Application (such as
    GRC
    applications, ERP, HRMS, PPM, or CRM).

  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  5. Demonstrated experience supporting business process change, and the production of artefacts supporting operational teams in their transition.

  6. Previous experience working within a project structure, with an understanding of the delivery lifecycle - particularly around enterprise software implementations.

  7. Ability to maintain engagement with complex and diverse stakeholders at different levels of organisation simultaneously, ensuring that the change impact is communicated and understood appropriately for the different stakeholder groups.

  8. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder engagement, and the application of methods to track progress of change journey.

  9. Experience with digital adoption tools
