LOD
(Lawyers On Demand) is one of the largest and fastest growing global legal services businesses, and as a 'new law' pioneer, we continue to lead the market we created.
We're a global business with offices around the world that focus on providing end-to-end solutions for our clients' legal needs, by connecting them with our team of exceptional legal professionals. We provide secondment opportunities, legal advisory services, and legal operations & tech solutions. Together, we find new ways to supercharge the value that legal professionals and in-house legal teams deliver.
The Secondment
Our client, a leading organisation within the fleet leasing and broader financial services sector, is seeking a mid-level Litigation Lawyer to join their in-house team on a 3–4 month secondment. This opportunity will see you supporting a busy disputes function, with a strong focus on responding to AFCA matters and providing practical, commercially minded advice across a range of litigious issues.
The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial litigation experience, sound judgment, and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements
- 4–6 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation or financial services disputes
- Demonstrated experience managing AFCA responses and external dispute resolution processes
- Strong technical capability in commercial dispute resolution, with the ability to analyse complex matters and provide clear, strategic advice
- Excellent written communication skills and stakeholder management capability
- Ability to start at short notice and commit to a 3–4 month secondment
