About the Role:
If you're inspired by making a genuine impact—and you want to do it in a highly sensitive, fast-moving environment where your work
actually matters
—this role is for you.
You'll become a trusted operational partner to the Chief Executive and senior leaders, ensuring the seamless functioning of a dynamic office while supporting legal, investigative, and regulatory workflows.
You'll be central in coordinating strategic objectives, managing complex schedules, crafting high-level communications, and supporting active investigations and regulatory responses.

What you will be doing:
You will be the connective tissue across administrative, operational, legal, and investigative streams, including:
- Supporting high profile investigations by identifying, sourcing, and reviewing documents using legal document-review software;

- Briefing senior colleagues on litigation and regulatory matters, including drafting concise written advice;
- Assisting with responses to regulatory inquiries—drafting correspondence, compiling materials, and coordinating submissions.
- Drafting, issuing, and managing responses to statutory notices (including under the FWRO Act).
- Compiling briefs to counsel and assisting in hearing preparation;
- Attending hearings to assist with matters before courts or tribunals;
- Developing presentations, communications, and reports for internal and external stakeholder;
- Maintaining systems, processes, and document repositories (SharePoint, OneDrive, Adobe suite etc.);
- Anticipating issues, escalating matters appropriately, and coordinating solutions across senior stakeholders;
- Contributing to workplace coherence, team communication, and operational efficiency.
About You
To excel in this role, you will bring a rare blend of administrative excellence, legal-operational insight, and personal drive. You have:
- Experience in high-tempo, high-stakes environments—professional services, legal, political, regulatory, or similar;
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, OneDrive, SharePoint) and PDF tools, plus comfort with legal document review/management platforms;
- A strong grasp of relevant legislation (e.g., the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), FWRO Act 2009 (Cth)) and the willingness and capability to learn fast;
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, including balancing your own workflow with the availability and priorities of senior staff;
- Outstanding written skills, with attention to detail in drafting, formatting, and reviewing sensitive documents;
- Confidence, initiative, and the ability to coordinate multiple senior stakeholders;
- Demonstrated discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential materials;
- A mindset that embraces unfamiliar or bespoke tasks—because no two days will look the same;
- Experience building and improving systems and processes, perhaps in a start-up or evolving organisational context;
- Openness to a wide variety of responsibilities and the willingness to take ownership.
What you bring:
- 3-10 years post admission experience as an legal practitioner;
- Experience working with senior professionals in demanding environments;
