About the Role

Cloudstreet Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/Lead to join our team and work with our client, the Northern Territory Government (NTG), within Digital Project Services (DPS).

As the Senior Project Manager/Lead, you will build, lead, and manage high-performance teams, ensuring the successful delivery of highly complex, high-value business solution projects. The role focuses on solution requirements, design, procurement, configuration, delivery, implementation, and transition to steady-state support.

You will collaborate closely with a diverse range of stakeholders and subject matter experts, ensuring that business priorities and outcomes are delivered effectively.

This is a Darwin-based role, requiring a hands-on leader who can work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities, multiple stakeholders, and tight delivery timeframes.

About Digital Project Services (DPS)

Digital Project Services delivers high-risk, high-value ICT programs and multi-year digital transformation initiatives supporting core frontline services through inter-agency collaboration.

Notable programs include:

  • Core Clinical Systems Renewal Program
  • SerPro
  • Client Management System Alignment Program

DPS also provides a range of additional project management services to support agency businesses. These programs rely on specialist service providers, such as Cloudstreet Consulting, to supply expert talent for program delivery.

Project Overview

This initiative will transform the education landscape across the Northern Territory by delivering modern education management technologies.

The program will streamline data capture, sharing, analysis, and reporting, providing enhanced student enrolment and attendance capabilities. The solution will create a holistic view of each student's journey, including:

  • Location and attendance
  • Achievements and performance
  • Wellbeing data

By consolidating data from multiple sources, this initiative aims to improve student engagement and foster a student-centred approach to education across the NT.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be based in Darwin or willing to relocate.
  • Be eligible for security clearance (must have lived in Australia for the past 5 consecutive years).

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 10 years or more experience in project management roles specifically in enterprise business solution implementations, and within a large, complex and high-profile digital project/program environment, supported by formal qualifications in project management or similar.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to take a lead role across business, vendor and project stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated high level of skills, knowledge and experience in project management methodologies and frameworks, with emphasis on comprehensive project planning, governance, and risk and issue management ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
  • Demonstrated strong track record in providing leadership in matters of governance and probity, strategic and business planning, resolving complex risks and issues, and the successful delivery of agreed business priorities and objectives.
  • Strong change management skills with experience in end-to-end delivery of significant business solutions for complex business change projects integrating new ICT capabilities with organisational transformation needs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to engage and negotiate with people across business areas to achieve high quality outcomes through human-centred design principles throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Experience in technical concepts including system analysis, design, integration and associated interfaces.
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft suite of toolsets including SharePoint and the use of JIRA or ability to quickly acquire.
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT Service Management framework.
  • Experience working in a government environment across various sectors such as Education and Police.
