About the Opportunity

Are you ready to take your career to new heights and play a crucial role in the success of one of Australia's leading dairy companies? Fonterra is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to join our team as a Regional Account Manager.

As a Regional Account Manager at Fonterra, you will be instrumental in achieving budgeted targets within your designated territory. Your mission will be to identify and capitalise on lucrative opportunities within our extensive network of end users, including cafes and restaurants, as well as distributors in the Sydney metro area. Your efforts will be key in meeting and exceeding budgeted volume targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the AU Sales Manager North to enhance and expand our strategic partnerships within the NSW Foodservice Distributor network, ensuring Fonterra Australia's continued success.
  • Design and implement sales plans that not only meet but surpass targets, driving profitable growth for Fonterra.
  • Quickly establish rapport and build relationships to convert cold calls into orders.
  • Prepare comprehensive territory plans to optimise sales efforts.
  • Engage in trade shows to showcase Fonterra's offerings and connect with potential clients.
  • Detail and leverage specific sales and marketing promotional activities to boost sales.
  • Oversee the management of selected distributor customers to ensure seamless operations.

This fulltime, permanent opportunity will see you embrace a hybrid work model, with our Macquarie Park office as your base and the flexibility to work from home. Equip yourself with the essential tools of trade – a fully maintained company vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop.

About You

  • Previous experience in Foodservice or FMCG sales.
  • 1-5 years of selling and negotiation experience.
