Our Structural Heart business has a unique Regional Sales Manager opportunity for a driven and ambitious leader to join a high performing team managing TAVI portfolio. The Structural Heart and Aortic integrated operating unit offers mínimally-invasive approaches to restore proper structure and function of the heart and the aorta. We focus on the transcatheter replacement or repair of the four heart valves—aortic, pulmonic, mitral, tricuspid—and the placement of stent grafts to treat aneurysms and dissections of the body’s largest artery, the aorta.
**A Day in the Life
**Your natural ability to connect and communicate will build, demonstrate expertise and maintain strong and ethical business relationships with customers to encourage usage of our TAVI and Congenital products, drive sales revenue and market share targets for NSW and QLD territory. Reporting into the Business Manager - Structural Heart, the Regional Sales Manager will spend significant time managing your team in terms of development, operational requirements and working towards your team’s goals.
In this role, you will:
- Develops and/or implements global operating plans required to support product and program launches and achieve desired sales results.
- Work closely with the field sales organization to increase the adoption of Medtronic's products by developing and/or executing strategic field activities involving customer education, training and product messaging.
- Develop and drive product and service strategies, operational excellence, high quality and high economic value resulting in market differentiation, revenue growth and increased market share.
- Collaborates with other departments, including but not limited to senior leadership, Clinic Operations, Quality, Legal, Finance, Marketing, IT and Project Management to ensure sales targets are met and strategic initiatives are implemented in region of responsibility Travel requirement: less than 25%
**Must Haves**
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven people management or coaching experience preferably with establishing and motivating a sales team
- Solid knowledge of Business Planning
- Expert understanding of internal workings of hospitals labs/ theatres / departments / key influencers and tender process Strong strategic focus and ability to identify business priorities
**Nice to Have**
Experiences in cardiovascular therapeutic area/Structural heart/Aortic preferred
