The Firm

The Role & Duties

This role is part of a team of Assistants who collectively support all fee earners. The work is varied and rewarding, and the collaborative nature of the team ensures a supportive and balanced workload.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and amending legal documents and correspondence
  • Managing diaries, emails, and meeting coordination
  • Handling monthly billing using Aderant or similar systems
  • File management (electronic and physical)
  • Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
  • General administrative and team support

About You

You will bring strong legal secretarial experience and thrive in a team-oriented environment. A high level of attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive mindset are essential.

To be considered, you will have:

  • 4+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary in private practice
  • Billing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and legal document formatting
  • A collaborative and professional approach
