About the role
Join the team at Turner Freeman Lawyers as a Legal Assistant for our Personal Injury practice in Newcastle, NSW. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide vital administrative and legal support to our team of dedicated lawyers, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality legal services to our clients.
What you'll be doing
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including file management, document preparation, and correspondence
- Assist lawyers with and including scheduling appointments, managing deadlines, and maintaining client records
- Conduct legal research and help prepare legal documents such as briefs, contracts, and court submissions
- Answer client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar administrative role, preferably within a Personal Injury or Compensation Law environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and legal software
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
