Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring (team and stakeholders)
§ Lead and role-model the team culture, setting the tone from the top with Rabobank agreed standards (Cooperative, Respect, Integrity, Sustainability, Professionalism, and Vitality), and to embed a superior delivery model for MAC Clients..
§ Lead the investment in people development (team and self), including identifying skills and knowledge gaps and opportunities in the MAC Credit Analyst Team.
§ Lead, mentor and coach MAC Credit Analyst team to ensure consistency of output, high performance and support individuals to meet KPIs.
§ To actively manage performance of the individual team members, and the team as a whole to ensure individual and team KPIs are met.
§ Work in conjunction with MAC Relationship Managers to ensure Deal Planner best practice is achieved both as an information transfer and coaching / upskilling exercise for support staff.
§ Lead collaboration/ form key contact with senior stakeholders, including: Group Executive CB AU, Regional Managers, Credit Risk, Head of Credit Analysts.
§ It is Senior Manager's responsibility to act on any issues or slippage highlighted by the senior stakeholders.
§ Deliver accurate and timely information to Senior Stakeholders.
§ Lead, collaboration and co-ordinate with MAC Relationship Managers to lead change initiatives, identify best practices, develop standards and implement procedures accordingly for the CB MAC AU segment.
§ Enhance and encourage diversity and inclusion.
§ Promote and display strong, effective and open communication.

Workflow
§ Have oversight of workflow distribution, volumes and turnaround times – it is the Senior Managers responsibility to be across the key MAC deals in the country (and participate in deal team meetings where necessary).
§ Assist MAC Relationship Manager(s) in responding to the requirements of new and existing clients by monitoring turnaround times.
§ Work collaboratively with the Head of Country Banking Analysts and other Senior Manager(s), Credit Analysts to engage Senior Analysts from the regions to assist with MAC workflow where needed.

Client Monitoring and Prudential
§ Have oversight and ensure overdue reviews and special conditions for MAC clients are maintained within risk tolerance levels;
§ Update and oversight the Key Client of Concern list (in conjunction with Risk).

Organisation
§ "Plan-Do-Check-Act" (PDCA): Weekly branch meetings, agenda driven and minuted.
§ Be an initiator, adopter and where applicable the owner of new initiatives.
§ Contribute to and/or initiate inter and intra-regional initiatives and support.
§ Ensure that the consistency of output and desired behaviours of staff.

Strategy
§ Understand, support and contribute to the MAC and National Country Banking strategy.
§ Identify gaps in the execution of the strategic operating plan.
§ Take ownership of initiatives leading to the fulfilment of the strategic operating plan.
§ Contribute to best practice collaboration – communicate what 'great' looks like

Other Activities
§ Other duties as directed/required from time to time.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in either business, finance, economics, agribusiness or related discipline with a post qualifying degree favourably viewed
Experience:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience within banking, finance or agriculture (or similar).
