As our portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a highly experienced Credit Analyst to play a key role in credit assessment, structuring, and portfolio oversight across our real estate private credit investments.


The Opportunity

This is a senior analytical role suited to an accomplished professional with deep expertise in real estate credit risk and private lending. Working closely with the investment, origination, and risk teams, you'll assess new transactions, structure deals, and ensure the integrity of the credit process from origination through to repayment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive credit due diligence and financial analysis on borrowers, guarantors, and property assets
  • Prepare detailed credit papers and investment submissions for the Credit Committee
  • Assess deal structures, security positions, exit strategies, and risk mitigants across senior, mezzanine, and residual stock facilities
  • Liaise with valuers, legal advisers, and quantity surveyors as part of due diligence
  • Monitor existing loans, covenant compliance, and early warning indicators
  • Assist in portfolio reporting, stress testing, and investor updates
  • Collaborate with origination teams to structure deals aligned with LFO's risk appetite and lending mandate
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of credit policies, risk frameworks, and analytical models

Skills and Experience
  • 8–10+ years' experience in credit analysis, property finance, or structured real estate lending (bank, fund manager, or non-bank lender)
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and cash flow analysis skills
  • Deep understanding of property development feasibility, market dynamics, and risk drivers
  • Proven experience writing and presenting high-quality credit submissions to investment or credit committees
  • Ability to assess complex deal structures and identify key risk exposures
  • Familiarity with senior, mezzanine, bridging, construction, and residual stock loans
  • CA / CFA / or postgraduate qualification in finance, accounting, or property highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills, commercial judgment, and disciplined analytical mindset
