About the role

Safe Hands SA is seeking an experienced Trainer and Assessor to deliver Nationally Recognised First Aid and healthcare courses across Adelaide. You'll be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment, making each session interactive, practical, and enjoyable. Training is delivered at a range of client venues and community locations, so flexibility and a passion for connecting with people are essential. This role is ideal for a trainer who enjoys working with diverse groups and takes pride in delivering high-quality, memorable training experiences.

Skills and experience

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) – required.
  • Current National Police Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience delivering First Aid or healthcare training (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Strong background in facilitating learning, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups.
  • Registered ABN and professional indemnity insurance.
  • Own reliable transport with flexibility to travel to multiple training locations.
  • Flexible approach to scheduling, including occasional work outside normal hours
