The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and passionate Carpentry Trainers & Assessors to deliver and assess the Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220, CRICOS: 116162G) at our Adelaide and Melbourne campuses. This is a casual teaching role offering flexibility in scheduling and the chance to contribute to the growth of our training division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and practical Carpentry training aligned with CPC30220 requirements
  • Assess student competencies and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Contextualise training and assessment resources to reflect current industry practices
  • Accurately record attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes
  • Participate in validation and moderation activities
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and compliant training environment
  • Support students with guidance, mentoring, and workplace learning where required

Essential Requirements

  • Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220) or equivalent trade qualification
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated vocational competency and industry currency in Carpentry
  • Strong communication, mentoring, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)

Highly Regarded

  • Previous experience delivering Carpentry training in an RTO/CRICOS environment
  • Creativity and initiative in teaching approaches
  • Current driver's licence for workplace visits
