The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced and passionate Carpentry Trainers & Assessors to deliver and assess the Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220, CRICOS: 116162G) at our Adelaide and Melbourne campuses. This is a casual teaching role offering flexibility in scheduling and the chance to contribute to the growth of our training division.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and practical Carpentry training aligned with CPC30220 requirements
- Assess student competencies and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Contextualise training and assessment resources to reflect current industry practices
- Accurately record attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes
- Participate in validation and moderation activities
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and compliant training environment
- Support students with guidance, mentoring, and workplace learning where required
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220) or equivalent trade qualification
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Demonstrated vocational competency and industry currency in Carpentry
- Strong communication, mentoring, and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
Highly Regarded
- Previous experience delivering Carpentry training in an RTO/CRICOS environment
- Creativity and initiative in teaching approaches
- Current driver's licence for workplace visits
