We are currently recruiting for an experienced Property Legal Secretary to join a highly regarded mid-sized law firm based in Perth. This boutique practice is known for its top-tier client base, excellent culture, and high-quality legal services.

The Role

As a key support to the legal team, you will be involved in:

  • Liaising with clients and handling confidential correspondence
  • Managing diaries, calendars, emails, and appointments
  • Drafting, formatting, and editing legal documents
  • Performing conflict checks and file management (open/close/archive)
  • Providing general administrative support (scanning, filing, photocopying)
  • Assisting with billing and resolving billing queries

About You

You are a motivated and detail-oriented legal secretary who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 4+ years' experience as a legal secretary, ideally in property and commercial law
  • Understanding of property settlements, PEXA, Landgate, and OSR processes
  • Experience preparing leasing documents
  • Strong typing speed (65+ WPM with 98% accuracy)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with LEAP Cloud (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • A collaborative and professional demeanour
