Perth, Western Australia Work Medic Full time $45,000 - $60,000 per year

We are small group of Occupational Physicians in South Perth seeking an experienced Medical Secretary. We provide specialist Occupational Medicine advice to client companies, medico-legal opinions and medical assessments.

The role includes a range of medical secretarial responsibilities.

This is a 6 day per fortnight leave cover position with a prospect of a permanent position to job share with our current Medical Secretary.

Duties & Responsibilities include

  • audio typing of medical reports
  • billing & receipting
  • general reception & office duties
  • collecting mail and banking
  • booking appointments

To be considered for the position you must have:

  • a minimum of 2 years' experience as a medical secretary
  • fast and accurate typing skills for medical reports
  • the ability to prioritise workload and to multi-task
  • competent computer skills
  • articulate & professional communication skills
  • Rx Medical and Best Practice Premier Software preferable
  • Book keeping experience preferable but not essential
