Our Bajool Operations in Central Queensland are currently seeking for a Field Operator to join our team. Bajool and Port Alma are about 40km south of Rockhampton and 40km north of Gladstone.

The Role

Are you a hands-on person who thrives outdoors and enjoys physically active work? We're looking for a driven and reliable Field Operator to join our salt field operations. If you are experienced with water flow systems and ready to take on a vital role in production, this is your opportunity to step up.

In this role, you will:

Reporting to the Senior Brine Operator & Production Coordinator, you'll play a critical part in ensuring smooth, efficient operations for our brines and salt fields. Your key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and maintaining brine levels and flows across the site.
• Managing brine delivery to crystallisers to maximise salt growth and production.
• Ensuring timely brine removal to support optimal harvesting conditions.
• Conducting pond measurements and crystalliser surveys.
• Operating and maintaining pond control gates to prevent leaks and ensure performance.
• Collecting samples and performing basic salt lab testing.
• Supporting salt harvesting, salt loading, and general production operations.
• Assisting in brine system repairs with the maintenance and production teams.
• Keeping accurate, up-to-date process department records.
• Adhering to company safety and environmental policies at all times.

• Previous experience in water flow, irrigation, or pumping systems (highly regarded).
• Year 12 Science qualification (desirable).
• A valid C-class driver's licence.
• Front End Loader ticket (advantageous).
