Your new company

An established and growing organisation in the Gold Coast region is seeking a qualified Accountant to lead financial operations, compliance, and reporting. This is a hands-on role suited to a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership and systems experience.

Your new role

Reporting to the Board, you will oversee all aspects of financial management including:

  • Month-end and year-end reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
  • Budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Supervision of accounts staff across AP, AR, payroll, and purchasing
  • Asset management and capital expenditure tracking
  • BAS, FBT, payroll tax, and superannuation compliance
  • ERP system oversight and process improvement initiatives
  • Liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies

What you'll need to succeed

  • CPA or CA qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial accounting, ideally within manufacturing or METS
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax and corporate compliance
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and Microsoft 365 suite
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
