Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lytton, Queensland. This role is instrumental in driving process optimisation, enhancing manufacturing efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across our production lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Design & Optimisation: Analyse and improve existing manufacturing workflows, identify areas for cost reduction, and increase productivity and efficiency.

  • Project Management: Lead and support engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with quality and operational goals.

  • Data Analysis: Collect and interpret production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Lean Manufacturing: Apply lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies to support continuous improvement programs.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to deliver consistent results and enhance product quality.

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all process improvements and engineering activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Innovation: Research new technologies and manufacturing practices to enhance our competitive advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role, preferably in chemical or industrial production.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

  • Proficiency in engineering software and data analysis tools.
