NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd is an established Australian gold explorer, developer, and producer. The mine employs around 250 people across underground mining, and ore processing operations.

The opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated Mine Engineer to join our technical services team at Pajingo Gold Mine. This position is offered on a 12/9 roster, with FIFO or DIDO options considered for the ideal candidate.
Key responsibilities
• Develop short- to mid-term mine plans (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) and coordinate their implementation.
• Deliver accurate and timely drill and blast designs and plans.
• Prepare blast masters, blast stock, and stockpile capacity documentation.
• Present weekly mine plans to Superintendents and review outcomes against prior plans.
• Design drill patterns in line with site standards.
• Prepare and present weekly reports, plans, and performance analysis.
About you
• Tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' mining industry experience, including at least 1 year in mine planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mine planning software (Deswik preferred).
• Strong technical skills in mine planning, scheduling, and blasting.
• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated risk management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and lead others.
