Synergie Australia is looking for 2 x road crew labourers for our local government client based in Mareeba/Dimbulah on the Atherton Tablelands.

The important parts:

  • Location: Start & finish from Mareeba Shire depot - work crew drive to Dimbulah daily, QLD
  • Start date: ASAP - 3 month contract with possible extensions
  • Rate: $33.38 p/h plus super - Casual rate
  • Small road team crew
  • Must have Australian work rights and be a permanent resident (Working Holiday Visa holders need not apply)

What you will be required to do:

  • Work in a small road crew team to help lay pipes, build headwalls, pothole patching etc

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Have previous experience working as road crew and be physically fit to perform manual roles (digging, concreting etc)
  • Have a Manual C class license to get to and from the Mareeba Council depot to start and finish work (MR license would be an advantage)
  • Have full working rights in Australia
  • Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to the local depot
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role.
