The Opportunity

As part of our continued growth, Black Cat Civil is seeking a highly organised and proactive individual in a newly created position, providing dedicated support to our Group Legal and Commercial Manager. In this pivotal role, you'll act as their trusted right hand—to ensure the smooth operation of legal, commercial, and administrative functions across the broader Black Cat Civil business group.

Key responsibilities include:


• Drafting, formatting, and reviewing correspondence and legal documents.


• Assisting in the development and implementation of business wide systems and procedures.


• Compiling and organising documentation for internal and external use.


• Preparing reports and maintaining digital records.


• Managing files (both hard copy and electronic).


• Providing executive level support across the wider Black Cat business group.


• Coordinating calendars and ensuring key deadlines are met.


• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including scheduling meetings.


• Handling general administrative tasks.

Desired skills & experience


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.


• Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


• Professionalism, discretion, and a high level of integrity.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• High attention to detail, especially in data entry and document preparation.


• A positive, proactive and adaptable mindset.

Highly Regarded attributes


• Previous experience in a similar role (e.g administration, paralegal, legal secretary).


• Tertiary qualifications in business, or contract management (desirable but not essential).
