Are you a passionate Speech Pathologist looking for a rewarding career in a supportive and vibrant workplace? Join our experienced multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients
The Child Development Hub is a warm and welcoming environment, created by therapists, pulling together knowledge from Health, Education and Community organisations, to create a clinic that is focused on both its staff as well as the children and families we treat.
We are a supportive team where everyone's opinion is valued and everyone gets a say in service delivery. The clinic is well resourced and clinicians keep their skills up to date through professional development, in-services and supervision, ensuring we are always providing high-quality, evidence-informed therapies.
Outside of therapy, we enjoy coffee, birthday cakes, celebrations and any excuse to dress up (Book Week is our favourite time of year).
We are seeking an innovative and dedicated Speech Pathologist with a passion for working with children. We are accepting all applications with varying experience. Our New Starter Program offers New Graduates a chance to build their skills and feel supported, with manageable client numbers and dedicated supervision and mentoring whilst they find their feet. Both part-time and full-time applicants will be considered.
Why Work At The Child Development Hub?- Supportive Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside skilled professionals, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians and social workers in a collaborative environment where your growth and success are prioritised. Our team is here to mentor and support you every step of the way.
- Diverse and Engaging Caseload: Enjoy an interesting and varied caseload that challenges you to work with diverse and complex presentations, enhancing your clinical skills and professional growth.
- Care: Focus on delivering high-quality, client-centred care without the pressure of key performance indicators. We value your professional judgment and prioritise outcomes over quotas.
- A Great Place to Work: Enjoy a positive, inclusive, and flexible workplace culture that fosters work-life balance, professional development, and team spirit. Our staff love working here, and we're confident you will too
- Comprehensive Support: Benefit from regular supervision, access to resources, and ongoing training opportunities to enhance your skills and career.
- Dedicated Admin Support: Our friendly and efficient admin staff handle scheduling, billing, and paperwork, so you can focus on delivering exceptional care.
- Competitive Benefits: Attractive salary package, flexible hours and professional development allowances.
As a Speech Pathologist, you will:
- Provide client-centred assessments and interventions to children with a range of presentations using a variety of diagnostic tools including standardised assessments.
- Identify each child's strengths and challenges and provide goal-oriented, targeted intervention to improve functional outcomes.
- Empower families to support their loved ones' development, working closely with caregivers to provide education, resources, and ongoing support throughout the therapy process.

- Contribute to a positive team culture through shared learning and collaboration.
