Your Role as a Speech Pathologist in AQ School

As a Speech Pathologist in our education team, you'll play a key role in supporting students' communication, language, and social development. Working alongside educators and allied health professionals, you'll help students engage meaningfully with their learning and peers.

Your day may include:

  • Delivering small group or individual sessions focused on speech, language, and communication goals
  • Supporting students with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
  • Collaborating with teachers to embed communication strategies into classroom routines
  • Facilitating social communication groups and play-based interventions
  • Engaging with families to share strategies and progress, and contribute to multidisciplinary planning

You'll also be responsible for documentation including assessments, observations, and progress reports. This role is ideal for a Speech Pathologist with experience in educational settings and a collaborative, student-centred approach.
