About the Role:
As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and analysing project plans, specifications, and related documents to understand scope and requirements.
- Performing detailed quantity take-offs and developing comprehensive cost estimates.
- Collaborating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to obtain accurate pricing and information.
- Assisting in the preparation of tender submissions and proposals.
- Monitoring project costs and providing regular updates to project managers.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.careers-
About You:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating within the residential construction industry.
- Experience within production AND/OR sales estimation for a volume home builder.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Building, or a related field.
