The Company  

  • Established project & custom builder home builder.
  • Has been in business for over 30 years.
  • Building single and double storey homes for private and developer clients.
  • Office based in the Parramatta area.

Job Role

  • Estimator required to carry out Sales and Production Estimating.
  • Can provide training in Sales or Production if required.
  • Sales tender documents, variations, Bill of Quantities, take offs and measurements.
  • Supplier liaison and negotiation.
  • Salary between $90,000 and $120,000 plus super.

Duties 

  • Preparation of sales tender documents.
  • Preparation of tender documentation.
  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) take-offs, materials and labour costs.
  • Source new trades.
  • Manging RFI's.
  • Procurement.

Essential Skills & Experience  

  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or any other related field.
  • Proven experience of estimating for residential projects or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of the BCA / NCC and Australian Standards.
  • Understanding of construction materials, methods and techniques.
  • Experience of estimating software such as Databuild, Cubit, Buildertrend etc.
