Hahn Electrical Contracting is a respected, Australian-owned company delivering specialist electrical services to the mining and industrial sectors for over 30 years. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a highly organised, reliable and detail-focused Administrator to join our Perth based team and support our HSEQ function.

About the Role

You'll provide critical administrative support to the HSEQ Coordinator and team, ensuring that records, registers and compliance documentation are accurately maintained. This role plays a vital behind-the-scenes part in helping our business uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance.

This is not a coordinator or advisory role - it is a hands-on administration position. If you enjoy keeping systems organised, documentation up to date, and supporting others with training, compliance and reporting tasks, this role could be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update training records, safety documentation, audit results and compliance registers
  • Prepare and format reports, meeting agendas, incident summaries and communications
  • Track expiry dates for licences, training, and certifications — and issue reminders
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in safety management systems and spreadsheets
  • File and manage documentation related to audits, inspections, and incident reports
  • Book training, assist with document control and reception overflow as needed
  • Provide prompt and professional administrative assistance to the HSEQ and wider team

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience in an administration role (e.g. safety admin, compliance admin, office admin)
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Confident using MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Comfortable working with sensitive or confidential information

Highly Desirable:

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or progress towards)
  • Experience in the mining or heavy industry sectors
  • Understanding of ISO systems or audit processes
