About the opportunityMinprovise is seeking a dedicated HSEQ Advisor to champion and embed our Zero Harm philosophy across our operations. It is more than compliance, you are to inspire change, supporting leaders at every level, and driving a culture where health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) are integral to everything we do. With a hands-on approach, you will provide real-time guidance, conduct quality assurance, and engage actively in the field to ensure HSEQ principles are deeply understood, consistently applied, and effectively sustained.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our HSEQ team, you will report to HSEQ Manager:

• Provide HSEQ guidance and support to leaders across all levels
• Design and facilitate sessions aimed at developing HSEQ leadership competencies and fostering a proactive culture of continuous improvement.
• Execute systematic HSEQ engagement/interaction/inspection activities involving multiple levels of leadership, with a strong focus on real-time observation and immediate feedback on HSEQ practices in the field.
• Provide real-time guidance and feedback during site inspections, pre-starts, and toolbox talks.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly reports summarising key HSEQ observations, identified compliance gaps, and progress towards HSEQ objectives.
• Analyse incident data to identify trends and systemic issues, feeding insights back into HSEQ improvement strategies.
• Identify trends, provide actionable insights, and track outcomes to help us improve every day.
• Support or lead incident investigations using structured methodologies like ICAM or Taproot.

About You:

• Relevant tertiary or certificate qualification in Work Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience in a HSEQ role within the FIFO Mining industry.
• Sound knowledge of Australian and Western Australian WHS legislation, environmental regulations, and relevant industry standards.
• Proven ability to conduct incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Proven experience in safety coaching, preferably within the mining, construction, or heavy industry sectors
• Lead Auditor qualification (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001).
• Experience with HSEQ management software systems. (e.g. INX, PowerBi,)
• Specific industry-related certifications (e.g., confined space, working at heights, first aid).

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in a similar HSEQ advisory role within mining, construction, or heavy industry
• Strong working knowledge of HSEQ legislation, systems, and audit practice
• Hands-on approach with excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to coach, mentor, and influence a range of stakeholders
• Investigative experience with methodologies such as ICAM, Taproot, or 5 Whys
• INX or equivalent HSEQ management system experience (preferred)
