About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at the Armani Restaurant in Parramatta, NSW. As our Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, creative dishes that reflect our commitment to excellence in the culinary arts. This is a full-time role, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients
  2. Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
  3. Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement new menu items
  4. Supervising and training kitchen staff to maintain a high level of efficiency and quality
  5. Monitoring inventory and placing orders for necessary supplies
  6. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef in a similar role
  2. Formal culinary training or certification
  3. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavour combinations, and presentation
  4. Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  6. Passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to exceptional customer service
