About the Role

We are looking for Residential Care Officer to work with our participants within the community and Supported Independent Living Homes. The successful applicants will work across a range of services.

You will be providing opportunities for our participants to experience life and achieve goals through learning new skills and participating in social and recreational activities.

We have a wide range of shifts available across a seven-day roster, so shifts are flexible and so are we. Hours may vary depending on participant demand at individual sites and centres.

Key Responsibilities for a Residential Care Officer

· Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.

· Monitor residents' physical and emotional health, reporting any concerns to relevant healthcare professionals.

· Organize recreational and social activities to promote engagement and well-being.

· Maintain accurate records and reports on residents' progress and incidents.

· Support residents in developing life skills and fostering independence.

· Liaise with families, social workers, and other professionals regarding residents' care.

· Ensure the residential environment is clean, safe, and comfortable.

· Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures to protect vulnerable residents.

Minimum Requirements:

1.    Drivers License

2.    First Aid/CPR Certificate

3.    National Police Check

4.    At least 1 year of relevant experience required for this role.

5.    Minimum of Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability, Aged Care or Individual Support.

6.    Manual Handling Training

7.    NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety & You

8.    NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)

9.    The Right to Work in Australia
