Housekeeper (includes cleaning) wanted for an elderly husband (with Parkinson's and Parkinson's Dementia) and wife on the Northern Beaches, Sydney.

$50 an hour, three days a week, at our home in Wheeler Heights (Collaroy Plateau) (Monday, Wednesday, Friday - negotiable) 5 hours a day (starting around 10am). Total of 15 hrs a week.

No caring included in this role.

The ideal applicant will:

  • Have excellent spoken and written English
  • Be local to the Northern Beaches.
  • Be very infection safe, Covid and flu shots up-to-date - RAT tests for major infections provided weekly.
  • Be attentive to detail, honest, energetic and have a can-do attitude.
  • Have experience working in housekeeping roles.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Have a current Police Check

Typical duties include but not limited to:

  • All home cleaning duties
  • Laundry (sort, wash, dry, iron, fold, put away)
  • Make beds
  • Organise - cupboards, pantry,
  • Grocery shopping, meal planning and some preparation
  • Home Maintenance and Tradesman Co-ordination
