About the role

Join the housekeeping team at The Lurline group', a collection boutique hotels in the heart of Sydney and eastern suburbs. As a Housekeeping team member, you will be responsible for ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest possible standards. This is a full-time opportunity based in group.

What you'll be doing

  • Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and restocking supplies
  • Tidy and maintain cleanliness in all public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and function rooms
  • Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Assist with the laundry and linen services as required
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or hotel cleaning role, ideally in a similar upscale hotel environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently to tight deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to understand and follow instructions
  • A positive attitude and a genuine passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts as required
