About the role

Supreme Hospitality Services is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As a part-time Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality across our hotel properties.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, task assignments, and quality control
  • Train and develop housekeeping staff, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional service
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet company and industry standards for cleanliness and presentation
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Implement and maintain efficient housekeeping procedures and inventory management
  • Communicate effectively with the housekeeping team and management to identify and resolve any issues
  • Assist with the recruitment, selection, and performance management of housekeeping staff

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in using housekeeping management software and technology
  • Thorough understanding of hotel housekeeping standards, procedures, and best practices
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams
  • A customer-focused mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional service
