About the role
Hotel Ravesis' in the heart of Bondi Beach is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team. There is options for this to be a casual/part time or full time position pending discussions with the accommodation manager. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations, managing a team of 4-6 housekeepers and ensuring our hotel is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
What you'll be doing
- Manage a team of housekeeping staff and oversee all daily cleaning operations
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain hotel cleanliness
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to assess quality
- Assist the accommodation manager with ordering and managing housekeeping supplies, ensuring adequate inventory is maintained
- Provide training and development opportunities for the housekeeping team
- Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar housekeeping management role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Sound knowledge of housekeeping operations, including cleaning methods, inventory management and sustainable practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all hotel departments
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work on a rotating roster including weekends
- Must have full working rights in Australia
