About the role

Hotel Ravesis' in the heart of Bondi Beach is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team. There is options for this to be a casual/part time or full time position pending discussions with the accommodation manager. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations, managing a team of 4-6 housekeepers and ensuring our hotel is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage a team of housekeeping staff and oversee all daily cleaning operations
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain hotel cleanliness
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to assess quality
  • Assist the accommodation manager with ordering and managing housekeeping supplies, ensuring adequate inventory is maintained
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the housekeeping team
  • Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar housekeeping management role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Sound knowledge of housekeeping operations, including cleaning methods, inventory management and sustainable practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all hotel departments
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be available to work on a rotating roster including weekends
  • Must have full working rights in Australia
