About the Role
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Legal, Compliance & Company Secretariat, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our governance processes run smoothly and our legal and regulatory obligations are met. This is a hands-on position where your expertise will directly support our boards, committees, and risk and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support risk and compliance frameworks, including ASIC and AFSL reporting
- Assist Risk and Compliance Committees and annual audits
- Maintain registers: incidents, breaches, conflicts of interest, fit and proper persons
- Provide regulatory compliance and ASIC reporting support
- Coordinate board meetings, minutes, and follow-up actions
- Oversee board and executive declarations and authorised representatives
- Guide corporate governance and board-related requirements
- Review and implement governance policies, charters, and risk frameworks
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, Privacy Law, and APRA Prudential Standards
- Legal qualifications (preferred)
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of corporate structures
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Self-driven, accountable, and collaborative team player
- Eagerness to learn and grow in new areas of expertise
