About the Role

We are establishing a new, German-owned Tier 1 automotive component manufacturing facility in KAEC. As part of this greenfield investment, we are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Government Relations Officer (GRO) to manage and coordinate all interactions with Saudi government authorities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and supporting smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with government entities (e.g., Ministry of Human Resources & Social Development, Jawazat, GOSI, Qiwa, Muqeem, Chamber of Commerce).
  • Manage employee-related processes including visas, work permits, Iqama issuance/renewals/cancellations.
  • Handle company licenses, commercial registrations, municipality permits, and other regulatory approvals.
  • Ensure timely submission of all government documentation and renewals to avoid penalties.
  • Stay updated with changes in Saudi labor and immigration laws and provide guidance to management.
  • Represent the company during government inspections, audits, and official visits.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of all GRO-related transactions.
  • Support HR and Administration with employee onboarding/offboarding procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with government officials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in GRO, PRO, or HR administration within Saudi Arabia.
  • Solid knowledge of Saudi labor law, immigration regulations, and government e-platforms (Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher, GOSI, Etimad).
  • Fluent in Arabic (native) and proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Valid Saudi driving license; Saudi nationality is required for this role.
