About the Opportunity

Caroline Chisholm College is seeking a full-time temporary RE/HSIE teaching position commencing 2026 for Terms 1 through to Term 3

Caroline Chisholm College, Glenmore Park, is a Catholic Secondary girls' school. The College is committed to providing young women with a quality Catholic education which promotes a passion for learning, develops skills for living and inspires an ongoing search for meaning.

Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and share in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualified to teach RE & HSIE.
  • Have the ability to design effective learning programs and assessment tasks that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Make a positive difference to improving the learning outcomes of all students Year 7-12
  • Ability to demonstrate high level interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork in both KLA teams.
  • Demonstrate high quality explicit teaching skills that enable students with a diverse range of learning needs to achieve their full potential.
  • Commitment to the continual improvement of explicit teaching practices through reflective practice and engage in professional learning opportunities for professional growth.
  • Work creatively and collaboratively within a range of 'communities' inside and beyond the school and set high, achievable goals for self and students.
  • Willingness to contribute to extra curricular activities and faith development opportunities.

Qualification and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Education (or fourth year student)
  • NESA Accreditation (Conditional Accreditation also accepted)
  • Statements of Service
  • Working with Children Check clearance (essential)
