**My Gateway** has an opportunity available for a business administration trainee within the education sector.

Our client, Oran Park Anglican College is a co-educational college catering for over 900 students from prep to Year 12. Based in Oran Park, this role will support the administration team within the student services department.

This is a 12 month traineeship where you will learn great skills and gain a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Business Administration**.

**Duties will include but are not limited to the following**:

- Create a positive, friendly, enduring impression when greeting and assisting all students, teachers and parents who interaction with Student Services
- Respond to all telephone enquiries in a friendly and helpful manner, re-direct enquiries and/or take appropriate follow-up action.
- Provide first aid treatment and supervision of students attending sick bay as required.
- Administer medication to students, which is supplied by parents/guardians as required.
- Assist the College Nurse in duties as requested.
- Assist the Administration Assistant - Events as requested.
- Assist with catering for functions.
- As part of the wider Administration team, assist when necessary with administrative tasks.
- Work collaboratively, establish rapport and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents and staff of the College community.
- Attend College functions as required with notice.

**To be considered for this role, you will need to**:

- have, or be willing to obtain, a current Working with Children Check.
- have, or be willing to obtain, a current First Aid Certificate.
- Satisfy child protection screening.
- have a warm and welcoming personality.
- be able to empathise with members of the College community with a high degree of confidentiality.
- have an understanding of, and the ability to, contribute to the vision. and mission of Oran Park Anglican College.
- have sound organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- be able to work independently or as part of a team as required.
- hold a current Driver's licence, own transport is preferable.
