About the role

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and inspiring New Car Manager, to drive culture, performance and enable our Sales Team to reach their full potential everyday  As New Car Manager, you will be responsible for managing the performance of the sales department, driving revenue growth, and maintaining exceptional levels of customer satisfaction. You will lead by example, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service while achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, motivate our team of sales consultants to meet and exceed individual and group targets.
  • Develop and implement effective and innovative sales strategies to drive profitability and market presence.
  • Oversee the sales process, ensuring an exceptional customer experience in every interaction, from start to finish.
  • Lead a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and mentor the team identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments in the business to streamline operations and ensure the best experience and outcome for the customer.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a Sales Manager position within the automotive industry.
  • A track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Excellent motivational and leadership skills and a desire to develop a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a customer focused mindset.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities in a fast paced, dynamic sales environment.
  • A valid driver's license is essential.
  • Valid Motor vehicle yard manager licence is essential.
